Anaphylactic Shock Awareness for Schools, Childcare Settings and Business. Cost per person £40 + VAT
This 2hr course is designed to give information on Anaphylaxis and Anaphylactic Shock. It is a very popular course and is used by many Schools, Colleges, Universities, Early Years Teams, Child Minders, Nurseries and Parents. It provides training in the use of an Epi-Pen / Ana Pen and knowledge and confidence to deal with this potential life threatening emergency. On successful completion of the course the candidate is awarded with a certificate valid for three years. The certificate will state that the holder has received training in the safe use of an Epi Pen & Ana Pen. Topics covered include:
- Incident management and developing a care plan
- Management of an unconscious Child or Baby
- Paediatric Resuscitation
- Anaphylaxis video presentation
- Practical session using Epi Pen & Ana Pen training devices
On successful completion of this course, certificate holders may display our Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Provider logo on their website and business material. Please contact our office for a copy of the logo, you will be required to provide your certificate PIN number.

Anaphylactic Shock Awareness and Management for Health Care Professionals
This 2-3hr course covers similar topics to that of the course above but is designed to meet the needs of Health Care staff. The course is regularly attended by Health Visitors, District Nursing Staff, Cosmetic Practitioners, Dental Practice Staff and General Practice Staff. Additional topics to that of the course above include:
- Management and monitoring of an Anaphylactic patient
- Extended skill resuscitation and the use of Oxygen, Airways and Bag & Mask resuscitators.
