Mark’s enthusiasm for Emergency Care started at the age of 10 when he joined St. John Ambulance as a Cadet. It didn’t take long before Mark became “hooked” and was promoted to the rank of Cadet Corporal. At 16 he joined the “Adult” membership where his enthusiasm grew and he made the decision that this was what he wanted to make a career out of. He then began his training through Wolfson School of Nursing and Midwifery, in conjunction with Thames Valley University at The Thames Valley Nuffield Hospital, and gained his qualification of City and Guilds in Operating Department Practice. Mark graduated in 1999.
