Registered Trainer, Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).
In this role, it is Mark’s job to manage all medical aspects of the company. This includes the training, supplies and event medical services
Mark’s enthusiasm for Emergency Care started at the age of 10 when he joined St. John Ambulance as a Cadet. It didn’t take long before Mark became “hooked” and was promoted to the rank of Cadet Corporal. At 16, he joined the “Adult” membership, where his enthusiasm grew, and he made the decision that this was what he wanted to make a career out of. He was soon promoted to the rank of Sergeant and then became one of the youngest members to hold the position of Divisional Officer.
Mark made the decision to seek a medical career and investigated the hundreds of careers in the medical world. The department that appealed the most was the Operating Theatre. He then began his training through the Wolfson School of Nursing and Midwifery, in conjunction with Thames Valley University at The Thames Valley Nuffield Hospital, and gained his qualification of City and Guilds in Operating Department Practice. Mark graduated in 1999. Here, he spent 3 years and decided to further his career in teaching.
Mark moved on and took up the position of Senior Training Consultant & Operations Manager of a private health care company. Mark’s reputation as a tutor began, and it wasn’t long before he was requested to provide his own training courses. It was at this company that he met Keith Griffiths, and the two soon formed a good working relationship. It was from there that ABC Medical Services began. Using a combination of experience, knowledge and contacts, Mark has been able to develop the medical side of the company.
Over the years, Mark has become highly regarded as a tutor and advisor for many local authorities and businesses.
