Sports Injury Emergency Care / First Aid Course
Our Sports Injury Course is totally dedicated to sports injuries, it is not a standard course with the word sport added. If you are involved in sport the course is ideal for you!
Our Sports Injury Course has been specifically designed for Coaches, Trainers, Managers, Teachers, Parents and Officials who require the knowledge and skills necessary to manage sports injuries and medical emergencies on and off the field; safely, promptly and effectively prior to the arrival of professional help. This course will provide you with the knowledge and the confidence to manage an emergency. Your course will be run by one of our highly experienced tutors who are experienced in Pre Hospital Emergency Care. The course is suitable for all sporting disciplines and will award a qualification valid for 3 years. All Sports Injury Courses can be customized to a particular sporting discipline (Rugby, Football, Cricket, Athletics, etc.).
This course can be run at your club for group bookings, a minimum of 10
people will be required to run the course at your venue.

- Incident Management
- Management of an unconscious casualty &
Resuscitation, including use of a Defibrillator. - Spinal Injuries
- Asthma
- Wounds & Bleeding
- Head Injuries
- Fractures and Dislocations
- Anaphylaxis and Epi Pen / Ana Pen use

Dental & Medical Practitioner Basic Life Support Training
Basic Life Support for Medical and Dental Practitioners
(2hrs Verifiable CPD)
Our BLS course is run over 2-3hrs and is an ideal initial and refresher training course for health care professionals. The course meets the requirements of annual Continual Professional Development training, and will award 2 hours of verifiable CPD. The course is run regularly for GP and Dental Practices. We also run the course for care homes, hospitals and Health Visitor teams. Topics covered include:
- Incident Management
- Management of an unconscious casualty
- Basic Life Support Adult & Paediatric
- Use of your resuscitation equipment including Oxygen, Airways and Suction.
- We will also cover all additional topics you require ie Anaphylaxis etc.
This course can be run at your location or at our centre.

Security & Door Supervisor Emergency Care

Our Door Supervisor / Security Emergency Care Course is designed specifically for officers working in the public sector including licensed premises. The 1 day course meets the requirements of the Emergency First Aid at Work Course (HSE Approved) and will include additional topics appropriate to this industry. A certificate valid for 3 years will be awarded at the end of the course.
Topics Include:
The role of the first aider including reference to the use of available equipment and the need for recording incidents and actions;
Understanding the importance of basic hygiene in first aid procedures;
Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency;
Management of the Unconscious Casualty;
Resuscitation;
Wounds, Bleeding and Shock;
Airway Obstructions;
First aid for minor injuries;
Anaphylaxis;
Drug and Alcohol Intoxication;
Stab & Gunshot Wounds;
Use of site resuscitation equipment including AED if required;
Any other topics requested.
